Below is a standardised list of financial documents required from clients with income from abroad applying for a mortgage loan in Poland:
- certificate of income on a bank's form
- job contract
- credit report (from an equivalent of Polish Credit Information Bureau)
- latest annual tax return
- bank statement for personal account for a minimum of 3 months
As a rule, certified translation of the documents is required (with the exception of documents in English or German).
The most widely accepted source of foreign income is a job contract.
The remaining sources of income require, in many cases, an individual decision of the bank. This is largely due to differences in the tax systems of various states.
